Hi,
Very nice tool. Thank you.
Used with firefox 2. - had no problem, at all.
Unfortunately, doesn't work with v.3.5.5. Sorry.
Would be glad to have it up to date and use it again.
Best wishes,
Haz.P.

My suggestion for making VMC work on FF3.

1. Download the file (use the save as ... ) on to your desktop. You should get a file name like "viewmycurrency.xpi" or something like that.
2. Open the .xpi file (which U just downloaded) with any unzip utility
3. In this .xpi file you will find a lot of files .... in particular a file called "install.rdf"
4. Open this file in a text editor, and go to the paragraph marked with "install" and delete all the way till the end of the paragraph, (marked with another "install").
5. Now you have taken care of the "secure updates" error without fiddling with FF3
6. Look for another word like "maxVersion". There would be a 3.0.0* by its side. Replace the 3.0.0* with just a 3.*
7. Save the changes to install.rdf
8. Save the changes into the .xpi file
9. Right click this file and open it with Firefox. This will install the modified version on your browser without a hitch.

I hope it helps atleast 1 person.

PS - I don't know what to do about the fickle exchange rates.

I have already disabled the check for secutiry updates. Now it says that the extension's version is not compatible with my Firefox' version.

The conversion in Firefox 3 is incorrect, it doubles GBP from USD so where $185 should equal £105, it shows $350. If you could fix this it would be awesome.

Bug: Exchange rate update

It would seem that the default exchange rates are gathered from google, and they appear to be faulty(not the rate that a manual google search would return) The webex exchange rates are ok. Now this would not be a big issue if it would not revert back to google at every auto-update(every 8 hours) So either fix the google update, or make it so that webex is default/the one selected remains selected when the update takes place.
Thanks in advance.

@Lucein
Yes, the servers are selectable in FF2. Pls ref my post 146 and 147.
Now I am referring to FF 3.0.1. Here the servers are not shown and so I am not able to select. Secondly the Update exchange rate button also does not work.
Any one has any idea ?
